Kentwood Public Schools – Schools of Choice (SOC) Program 2026-2027

Kentwood Public Schools (KPS) participates in the Kent ISD Schools of Choice (SOC) Program for students living outside the district.

Application Window:

The Schools of Choice window has closed for the 26-27 school year.

Available Seats:

• Kentwood offered 150 seats for Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Important Notes:

• Transportation is the responsibility of the parent; KPS does not provide bus services for SOC students.

• KPS may deny enrollment to applicants with a history of suspension or expulsion.

• Placement at a specific school building is not guaranteed.
