Lap Swim is available for exercise in both Warm Water and Competition pools during the week.

Lap swimmers will fill lanes 1 per person first, then 2 to a lane, and up to a total of 3 persons in a lane.
We must close locker rooms for other programming shortly after lap swims. Please plan ahead to give yourself enough time after your exercise.

Weather Policy
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING - patrons will be encouraged to shelter in place for the duration of the warning.
TORNADO WATCH - Pool will be closed for the duration of the watch.

SCHOOL CLOSURES due to winter weather, etc. - if either the district website or the WOOD TV 8 scroll shows that Kentwood Public Schools are closed, the pool is also Closed.
Rules
Please remember the rules are for your safety! Failure to follow rules may lead to removal from the pool.
- Follow the lifeguard’s instructions.
- Please shower before entering the pool.
- Appropriate swimwear must be worn in the pool.
- Persons with open wounds or rashes are not allowed in the pool.
- Running and horseplay are not permitted.
- Animals are not allowed.
- Food and drink must be consumed in designated areas.
- No alcoholic beverages or glass containers allowed on grounds.
- Not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- No diving allowed in the Community Pool.
- Coast Guard approved lifejackets are the only outside flotation permitted in the Community pool.
- Children wearing flotation must have an adult in the water with them at all times.
- Flotation devices are not allowed in the Competition Pool.
- Swimmers may be asked to complete a swim test to swim in the Competition Pool.
- Diving is only permitted in the Competition Pool in designated areas and under supervision.
