A Message From the Director of Food Services, Mo Shamali

Our goal is to provide excellence for tomorrow’s citizens by providing a healthy breakfast and lunch program in which all students can participate. We serve more then 5,000 meals daily at 16 different locations. We continually strive to improve our quality and service.

You may now go on line to make payments to your child’s meal account, check their account balance and look at their meal history. Simply dial (1-866-285-0159) by phone or log onto MealPay Plus , all you need is your child’s student ID # and to follow the prompts. Also, the school menu is now available on line at www.kentwoodps.org and click on your school.

All Elementary students, in addition to their entrée of the day, have a Food/Salad Bar which consists of a variety of choices such as Fresh Lettuce, Vegetables (canned or fresh), Fruit (canned or fresh), Bread, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Cheese, and a variety of condiments, depending on what is offered on the menu as entrée of the day. These items may change on a daily basis. Choice of Milk is also available.

In addition to the many choices of the entrée of the day, all Middle and High School students have a Salad Bar available from which to choose a variety of food items. This may include; Fresh Lettuce, Cheese, fresh or canned Fruit, fresh or canned Vegetables, home made Soups, Cottage Cheese, and a variety of condiments. Also available, are several a la cart items, such as, Sub Sandwiches, Hamburgers/Cheeseburgers, Pizza, and French Fries, to mention a few. These items may change on a daily basis. Choice of milk is also available.
