Dear Bowen Families,
I would like to take this time to express how grateful I am to be leading such an incredible community of students, parents & staff. It has been an amazing year! I am so proud of the achievements and accomplishments of our students here at Bowen Elementary. These would not be possible without your support and dedication.
Reflecting on the past school year, we have had so many great memories and exciting events to look back on. We continued many successful traditions such as our Family Reading Night, Book Fairs, PBIS Celebrations , annual Parade of Nations, Spirit Week and many more heartfelt memories. We also added new experiences, which we will become new traditions. These include Golden Ticket winners, Championship Classrooms, BHC Color Run and our Mileage Club to promote health and fitness.. Our students really enjoyed all of these activities.
Thank you to our PTC. Words cannot express my appreciation for all that they have done! I look forward to our continued work together as we challenge ourselves and our students to set the highest standards and achieve the most ambitious goals. To my amazing Falcons of Bowen Elementary: Thank you for all your hard work throughout the school year. I am so honored to be your principal. I wish you all the very best summer vacation, and I look forward to welcoming you back, refreshed, for what will be an exciting new academic year.

As a collaborative team, we believe we are all valued as different and unique individuals. We strive to know our kids and appreciate our differences by taking responsibility for ALL, regardless of ability or background. We will also acknowledge our strengths and skills to maintain a cohesive team of staff and students working with parents while working towards the same goal: to learn.
We, at Bowen, in order to nurture and foster life-long learners, will provide relevant, rigorous instruction through best practices to maintain high academic performance and cultivate an atmosphere of enthusiastic, self-motivated readers.
